Those of you who have access to the Monograph on ThiruppAvai
written by the great Scholar /AchAryan , Sri U.Ve .PerukkaraNai
Swamy know the extraordinary vidhvath of this outstanding
expert in intrepreting ubhaya VedAntham lucidly and
with authority in the most sampradhAyic manner .
His soulabhyam and scholarship are of the highest calibre.

adiyEn has enjoyed summarizing excerpts from his
marvellous exposition on ThiruppAvai during this
year's Marghazhi season .

The SathAbhishEkam of U.Ve. PerukkAraNai ChakravarthyAchArya 
Swamy will be celebrated this Sunday at Desika Bhavanam,
Chennai. I have enclosed a note from Sriman K.Anand of
Chennai regarding this celebration.Those of you who are
in Chennai will be blessed to participate in this event 
and receive Swamy's blessings in person. Scholars of
this depth of scholarship need to be revered by us always.

I just distributed the first 10 copies of a batch of
25 of Swamy's ThiruppAvai monographs to BhakthAs , who supported
the release of this monograph in October 2000. Once 
the remaining 15 copies of this monograph arrive ,
I will be happy to send them to those , who wish to acquire 
them and raise any money from that effort and send it to
Swamy as our SambhAvanai. Independent of this effort,
please send your sambhavanais to this great scholar
directly at the address given below or let me know 
of any help in forwarding your sambhAvanais to this MahAn .

 On Coming Sunday, the 80th thirunakshatram celebration 
 {SatAbhishEkam on Next Year} of SrI U.Ve."SAra-SAranjn~a"
 PerukkAraNai ChakravarthAchArya SwAmi is being held at 
 SrI DESika Bhavanam,Mylapore. SwAmi is very well known in the 
 field of scholars for his sharp intellect. SwAmi has blessed us 
 with many granthas including the latest publications on the 
 commentary to SrI BhAshyam and ThiruppAvai. VEda PArAyanam for 
 four days have been arranged. Archives hold more detailed 
 information on this great AchArya. SrI SaThakOpan has seriliazed 
 many postings esp on ThiruppAvai based upon SwAmi's commentary.

 On 25th,Sunday, SrI VillUr KarunAkarAchArya SwAmi,
 SrI MannArguDi RAjagOpAlan SwAmi, SrI M.A.VE~nkatakrishNan
 SwAmi and SrI VELukkuDi KrishNan SwAmi will perform 
 short upanyAsams from 8:30 to 10:00 am, mainly focussing upon
 SwAmi's service to the sampradAyam in various ways. 
 Thadi-ArAdhanam has also been arranged. 

 Those at Chennai are kindly requested to attend this celebration
 and receive the blessings of SrI swAmi and Divya Dampati. Those
 who are interested to send their sambhAvanai to this AchArya
