Dear BhagavatOthamas:

Sri Vasudevan's series on Kannan perra veNNaikkalvi is simply
enchanting, to say the least. Sri MGV's anubhavam (involvement) and
exposition of Azhwaar aruLiccheyal's is infectious and uplifiting.

It is such a pleasure to read his descriptions because they overcome
the language barrier. Most translations and narrations in English
appear commonplace, especially if one has been exposed to the
original in tamizh or sanskrit. This is because it is very
difficult to reproduce the emotional and evocative states inherent in
the original. However, Sri MGV transcends these barriers because he
is directly communicating an experiential state rather than
re-narrating from comprehension.

My sincere thanks for this wondrous effort, and may our dear Kannan
spur Sri MGV to scale newer heights in his discoveries of Kannan's
cheshtithangaL and their descriptions.

aDiyEn,

sridhar
