Pleasant Surprise

Dear friends,

Yesterday my family and I were in for a wonderful surprise brought in by the
"bhakti-prappati" group thanks to the technology of the Inter-net.

I received a message from one Mr.Malolan Chetlur. He introduced himself as a
Research Scholar at the University of Cincinatti.He had been browsing
through and liked some of my postings on the bhakti-list. He was on his way
to Madras for a vacation but would like to hop in at Manama,Bahrain for a
few days where his own uncle was employed. Would I mind if he dropped over
to see me and have a chat?

Not all, it will be my pleasure, I told him.

Soon Sri.Malolan came over and over lunch at my place together we had a long
pleasant chat on personal things and "bhagavat-vishayam"! It was a nice
feeling to know that the net and "bhakti-list" had brought together two
hitherto perfect strangers !!

After a while we enquired each other about family backgrounds.

LO ! I was thrilled and astounded to learn that Sri.Malolan hailed from the
"pUrvAshrama" family of His Holiness the 42nd Azhagiyasingar Srimad
"InjimEt" Swami !!!  

To me it was a great privilege to have had y/day an "athithI" (revered
guest) like Sri.Malolan from Cincinatti. In some ways it was as if that
great "mahAn", the 42nd pontiff himself, had dropped in from nowhere for a
quick visit to my humble abode in Bahrain !!
