Sri Vatsa Gothram

Sri Vatsa Gothram has 5 Rishis in the pravaram, whereas other Gothrams have
three Rishis. Is this something peculiar only to Sri Vatsas?
Please someone clarify.
By the way my mother is of Sri Vatsa Gothram.
