NamaskAram,
   I am a 24 year old programmer working in Silicon Valley and a new
student of Sri Vaishnavam.  I was introduced to this wonderful
tradition by a very learned gentleman and a great devotee of Narayana.
 This eventful ( in my life anyway ) meeting took place about a year
ago and has had a remarkable influence on me.
   Until that time, I had a very cerebral and shallow understanding of
the Indian religious tradition, in general.  He pointed out the
inherent theism of Vedanta and the glorious vision of God in the Sri
Vaishnava traditions.  I started reading about the philosophy and the
life of ShrI Ramanujacharya.
   I am delighted to be amongst sincere Sri Vaishnava scholars and
thank ShrI Mani Varadarajan for this opportunity.
