Dear bhAgavathas,

This morning, I had the opportunity to speak with Sri Tridandi Jeear Swamy
regarding his visit.

He has proposed that rather than having just one Family Camp, the one in
Michigan that I had mentioned in my previous post, we should have two. The
camp in Michigan will involve a more broader based agenda that would be
intended for a more generalized audience of youth and newcomers to our
tradition. He is proposing to utilize Denver for more traditional
discussions on the teachings of the Azhwars and AchAryas.

Topics for discussion would be based on suggestions from all of you, but
could address such areas as:

* Sri GItha BhAshyam
* Visistadvaita vedAnta and the Upanishads
* Dharma sAstras
* teachings of our pUrvAchAryans
* VyAkyanams on specific pAsurams from thiruvAymozhi and thirupAvai

He is very much looking forward to meeting the members of this forum whom
he understands are more serious and interested followers of SriVaishnavam.

You all must forgive me at this point, because I do not at all wish this
proposed plan to interfere or conflict with the wonderful conference in
Pittsburgh that is being organized by Sri Sadagopan. But, I am sure that
all of you can understand how I felt when the AchAryan had asked me
personally to organize this type of program in Denver, and how difficult it
is for me to refuse.

So, I would like to extend an invitation to all of you, most especially
those of you who were unable to attend the December conference or are not
planning on attending the Pittsburgh conference (but don't let your having
attended these conferences stop you:-), to share in this very rare
opportunity to personally discuss the nuances of our tradition with this
respected AchAryan.

More details to follow....
