Introduction

From the Bhakti List Archives

Hari Om!

Email is highly impersonal. So, I thought I would introduce myself
before beginning posting to the list.

I am 31 years old, and I am employed as a Chief Sub Editor in The
Hindu Business Line, the financial and business daily of The Hindu
group. My studies were partially in Srirangam and Mumbai. I have
also studied a schooI run by the Ramakrishna Tapovanam. I was
earlier with The Indian Express, Ahmedabad.

My knowledge of Hinduism, leave alone Vishishtadvaita, is negligible,
but I am deeply interested in learning now what I haven't in all
these years. I was a member of the Chinmaya Mission long back and
whatever little I know about Hinduism is because of Swami
Chinmayananda and Swami Vivekananda.

I have a personal homepage where I have provided links to sites
related to Hinduism, including Aandavan Ashramam.

I request the members to help me my suggesting books or other sources
where I will be able to learn more about Vishishtadvaita. It will be
better if the sources are in a language in which guys like me can
understand.

My father subscribes to Sri Ranganatha Paduka, but the articles in it
go right over my head.

Of course, I depend a lot on this mailing list, too.

Hari Om.
