Dear Bhagavatas,

Continuing my previous posting on our Ethirajar, I would like to quote one another instance, which portrays that, Ramanuja was one of the the greatest thinkers which the world has ever produced to systematize Vishistadvaitic philosophy, interpreting the same, with letter and sprirt in perfect coherence to the human mind's logic.

Once when Ramanuja was accompanying the purappadu of Sri Ranganathar in the streets of Srirangam, a group of kids with the miniature clay model of Sri Ranganathar were pretending to consturct a temple and offer the lord with fruits and flowers with whatever dust and mud available on the road. They also offered the mud as prasadam to Sri Ramanujar, who was passing by at that time. Immediately, with lots of respects, Sri Ramanuja immediately fell in the Lotus feet of the Lord's model created by the kids. He believed, Lord takes whatever name and form, his sincere deveotees wished and in this case, though the kids were only playing, they sincerely believed in what they were doing. Such was the greatness of our Sri Ramanuja, who practised only what he preached.

One another fact which portrays Sri Ramanuja's unparalled contribution to the revival of our Sri Vaishnavisam, is, Thirukkotiyur Nambi declared that, the Srivaishnavisam revived by Sri Ramanuja thenceforth will be known as "Ramanuja Darsanam".

I will stop with this, and will continue in the future postings.

Again, i request, the learned members of this group to forgive, if there are any errors, which has occured due to Adiyen's ignorance.

Adiyen,

Ramanuja Dasan,

Varadarajan.
