HARE RAMA KRISHNA

Dear List members,
    I am a new member of the group. I am currently a
student at Penn State University doing my M.S in
Electrical Engineering. I grew up near the
Venugopalaswamy Krishna temple in Bangalore and was
always curious to know the meaning of the Thirupaavai
and other other songs sung in the morning during
Dhanurmaasam. Though I am a tamilian, my knowledge of
tamil is not proficient enough to understand the divya
prabandhams. My immediate interest in joining the
group was after reading one of the posts giving the
meanings of the naamas of the Lord given in
VishnuSahasranamam.I hope this forum helps me to
understand the meaning and subtleties of the divya
prabandhams, Vishnu Sahasranama and other scriptures.
