Yes. In the same way, GV's consider Vishnu's form to be eternal. That is
why I wrote 'ontologically prior' rather than 'temporally prior'. In fact,
not only the various forms of the Lord, but even the jivas and material
nature are eternal. Still, Brahman is considered prior to, or the cause of,
jivas and prakriti in the sense that their being is founded in His.
